David Lee Anderson

David Lee Anderson was born November 16, 2006 to his parents David Lee Harris and LaTanya Latrice Anderson in East Chicago, IN. Affectionately known as “Geetho,” David received Christ at an early age at St. Luke A.M.E. under the leadership of Pastor Leoma Williams. David was a 5th grade student at Washington Elementary in East Chicago, IN. He was a bright, exceptional student who was on the Honor Roll. He was a basketball star! He wore the #1 proudly on his school’s team jersey. David was also a team member of the Regional Bulldogs. If you ever wanted to find David, he was either at the basketball courts or the Penn Center. David was extremely overprotective of his mother and grandmother and he loved his family. 

David is preceded in death by his father David Lee Harris; grandmother Debbie Harris; great grandmothers Arizona Cleveland and Elma Anderson. 

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother LaTanyaAnderson; step-father Joseph Simmons; 2 brothers Edward “Rell” Owens and DeShaun Anderson; grandmother Dorothy Anderson; grandfather Michael Starks; 11 aunts TyshellAnderson, Darchell Anderson, Makeba Andeson, SerrenaLovelace, Nicole (James Lewis, Tamara (Omar) Horton, Shae Hayes, Nori Clay, Tira David-Bell, Natisha Morris, and Taxi Harris; 3 uncles Kevin Gray, Trevore (Ayonna) Harris, and Oliver Harris; 9 great aunts Eleonor Magee, Diane Coleman, JoMarie Harris, Yolonda Culver, Charmaine Florence, Ella Mae (Tommy) Hogan, Sherley (Randy) Rhodes, and Gail Anderson; 3 great uncles Edward (Cheryl) Harris, Tyrone Harris, Glenn (Cookie) Anderson; special uncle Keith (Zakia) Cleveland; special cousins Jarey, Mychell, LaChell, Devante, Jamesha, Kristen, Kaelyn, Kennedy, Oshi, and Kasean; best friends London, Mili, Kasean, and Eric Jr.
