LaTonya Walker

LaTonya Walker was born on December 3, 1959 to her parents Mr. Homer and Lillie Walker in Hammond, IN. She was the 12th child of 15. Nicknamed Tonya, she received Christ at an early age and attended New Hope Baptist Church in Hammond, IN. LaTonya attended Hammond Public School System and was known for her love of sports. She was a woman of many talents. She loved to read, write, and draw.

LaTonya Walker passed away Tuesday February 13, 2018 at the age of 58.

Proceeded in death by mother Lillie Walker; 4 brothers Homer Walker, Jr., Bennie Robinson, Charles Walker, Anthony Walker, and sister Sammie Jo Thomas. 

She leaves to cherish her memories her father Homer Walker; daughters Ayanna Walker, April Walker and Shanetelia Walker; grandchildren Andre Walker, Donte Walker, Rodney Lee, Kyle Lee, Aniyah Lee, Syion Epps, Ayzyiah Walker, Myriece Walker; 8 sisters Gloria Rembert of MN, Toni Walker of Hammond IN, Etta (Sherman) Dowdell, Shelia Walker, Audrey (Rick) Walker, Myra (Enoch) Epps, and Sandra Walker all Indianapolis IN, Barabra (Donald) Moses of Gary Indiana; 3 brothers Noel (Tucker) Robinson of Illinois, Robert (Kasia) Walker of OK, Richard (Debrah) Walker of Hammond, In and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
