Quentin Earl Samuels was born to his parents, Bellgard and Claudia Samuels on July 23, 1963 in East Chicago, IN. He was born the youngest of eleven children. Affectionately known to his friends and loved ones as “Sherman” and “Big Doe”, Quentin received many accolades and trophies while playing basketball during his childhood years as one of Harborside's Finest.
