Rochelle Jones

Rochelle Kathleen Jones was born March 22, 1965 in Chicago, IL to her parents Ronald Rickey Hazelwood and Willie Jones. Affectionately known as Shorty Ro, Rochelle attended Martin Luther King High School and later enrolled in trade school. She attended Power and Light Evangelistic Church with her children and family. Although life through her a few curveballs, she always seemed very hopeful and up to the task in meeting new challenges. Rochelle’s favorite color was yellow and she loved spending time with her family and friends. Rochelle will always be remembered by her warm smile and hilarious jokes that had everyone laughing hysterically. To know Rochelle was to love her.

Rochelle is preceded in death by her father Ronald Rickey (Margaret) Hazelwood; mother Willie Ann (Willie) Jones; son Darnell Jones and grandson Cecil Brown, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memories husband Charles Campbell; daughters Monique Jones and Danette Jones; son DeAngelo Jones; brothers Ronald, Jr., Reginald, Raymond, Richard, and Ronnie Hazelwood, James Wilson, and Carlton Jones; sisters Jessie (Stan) Jones-Parson, Regina (Roderick) Henderson, Rosalyn (Michael) Hazelwood, Ethel (Glenn) Hazelwood-Young; grandchildren Davion, Damarion, Jamari, Keyshawn, Joseph, and Amaire Jones, Antaneal Hawkins and Analyah Medina and a host of other relatives and friends.
