Alexander “Alex” Matos, 53, went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2021. Alex was born and. Raised in Chicago and spent the last year and a half enjoying time with his family in Indiana. He enjoyed being with his family and never ceased to amaze everyone he knew with his ability to live life to the fullest. Alex was a gifted builder and accomplished mechanic.

Alex is reunited in heaven with his mother Elizabeth, brothers George Jr., Tony, and his sisters Regina Matos, Juanita Matos and Tina Garcia. Left to cherish his memory are his two sons Alexander Jr. and Xavier, sister Virgin Matos, four stepchildren, five grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and life-long friends.
