Arturo Gonzalez

Arturo Gonzalez Pena was born December 21, 1950 to his parents Eduardo and Elvira (Pena) Gonzalez in Tangancicuaro Michoacan, Mexico. He was the second child born to this union. Arturo enjoyed traveling to Mexico, playing soccer and working with his hands and fixing things. Arturo worked at Inland Steel (Arcelor Mittal) for over 30 years and retired January 1, 2001. Arturo Gonzalez Pena passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at Community Hospital in Munster, IN. He was 70. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 38 years Araceli Gonzalez; father Eduardo Gonzalez; son Arturo Gonzalez, Jr.; great granddaughter Sophia and brother Alfonzo Gonzalez. Arturo leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Elvira (Pena) Gonzalez; children Patricia Gonzalez, Juan P. (Ana) Gonzalez, Eduardo (Bobbi) Gonzalez; 15 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four siblings and a host of other family and friends.
