Avery Guy

Avery Charles Guy was born in East Chicago, IN on September 25, 1974 to his parents David H. Guy, Jr. and Jacqueline F. Moore. Avery accepted Christ at an early age as his personal Lord and Savior and was baptized. Later, he attended East Chicago Central High School and graduated with the class of 1993.

Avery will always be remembered by his cooking and his love for his nieces and nephews.

Avery Guy departed this life on November 29, 2021 at his home in East Chicago, IN. He is preceded in death by his father, David H. Guy, Jr.; grandmother Frances Dates Raybon; great niece Da’Jae Guy and aunt RoseAnn Dates.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother, Jacqueline Moore; brother David (Ginia) Guy, Sr. of Merrillville, IN; sister Awanda Moore of San Diego, CA; brother Jarvis (Nicole) Moore of Hammond, IN; special friend Min. Mark Jackson; special lady friend Tia Pryor and a host of other nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
