Bessie Green

Bessie “Maude” Green was born on October 27, 1951 in Albany, Georgia to the late Alford and Louise Green.  Bessie had one daughter.  Bessie was affectionately known as Maude.  Bessie received Christ May 24, 2007 while attending Love Thy Neighbor in Atlanta, Georgia. Bessie began her eternal life on March 26, 2022 at Harbor Grace Hospice in Atlanta, Georgia.

Preceded in death by daughter, Trina Montice Addison, brother, Lovette Green Sr., and sister, Juanita Coleman.

Bessie leaves to cherish, three sisters, Elizabeth, Patricia, and Sandra Green.  One brother, Otis L. Green, all from Indiana.  Three grandchildren, Anthony Scott, LaTrina and Anton Addison.  Twelve great-grandchildren and a hosts of nieces, nephews, and friends. Bessie leaves special friend, Johnathan Lackey. Bessie will be remembered by her smile, her contagious humor, and her storytelling.  Although she remained in Atlanta, Georgia for most of her life, she would call family just to confirm she was doing well.  Her love for her grandchildren were evident in the many personal conversations
