Carrie L. Buck was born February 14, 1925 in Brickeys, Arkansas to the proud parent of Ernestine Johnson. Carrie received Christ as her Savior at an early age in Arkansas. Later, she married Steve Buck, mothered 12 children and later moved to East Chicago, IN in 1954. She spent the remainder of her life nourishing her family and friends with so much love, food, and fun.

She is preceded in death by her husband Steve and son Henry.

Carrie L. Buck, 93, of East Chicago, IN passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Munster Med-Inn in Munster, IN. She will forever by remembered by her loving children Stella, John, and Juanita Davis of Michigan, Lee (Illana) Buck of Indiana, Donnie (Janice) Buck of Minnesota, Lydia Buck of Tennessee, James Buck of Indiana, Jerome and Jimmy Buck of Minnesota, Shirley (Christopher) Derrick of Indiana and Catherine (Cynthia) Donohue of Indiana; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 20, 2018 at 11AM at Divinity Funeral Home 3831 Main Street East Chicago, IN 46312. Visitation one hour prior to service. Pastor Illana Buck, Officiating. Interment Fern Oaks Cemetery.
