Charles Vaughn

Charles Vaughn was born to his parents Charles and Lola Vaughn, Sr. on February 3, 1947 in Earle, Arkansas. He was the oldest of eleven children. Charles attended the East Chicago public school system. Later, he drove for the Miller Beer Trucking Company and a veteran for the U.S. Army. Charles was a hard worker and he loved his family and friends. Charles lived life to the fullest. Charles Vaughn departed this life Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Methodist Hospital in Gary, IN. He was 73. Charles is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Lola Mae Vaughn, Sr.; brother Carl Vaughn; sisters Jeanette and Janice Vaughn and stepson Vernon Williams. He leaves to cherish his memories his children Selina Vaughn, Chris and Charleston Vaughn of Denver, CO; stepsons Dekoven and Dontroy Irvin; grandchildren Charleston, Jr. and Gavyhn Vaughn; brother Clarence Vaughn; sisters Shirley, Linda, Laura, and Loretta Vaughn of East Chicago, IN, Dollester Vaughn of Indianapolis, IN, Rita (Anthony) Kindle or Park Forest, IL; sister-in-law Renee Vaughn of Gary, IN and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
