Deborah Elaine Chandler was born June 1, 1949 in East Chicago, IN to her parents Leola Thomas Jenkins and Willie E. Williams, Sr. Deborah received her formal education in East Chicago, IN and later furthered her education in Food and Nutrition for 25 years. Deborah was united in holy matrimony to her husband Lester Chandler, Sr. and to this union they were blessed with one son, Lester Chandler, Jr. Lester, Jr. was devoted to his mother and loved her very much. Deborah was a special lady who loved everyone especially her family.
To know her was to love her and she was loved by all.
Deborah is preceded in death by her parents Leola Patterson Jenkins and Willie E. “Specs” Williams, Sr.; brother Percy (Scoopy) Jenkins; great aunt Annie Bell Barnes; aunt Annie Belle Perry; step-father Al (Tit) Jenkins; grandmother Mary Bell Thomas and sister-in-law Toni Chandler.
She leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted son Lester Chandler, Jr.; step-daughter Tajah Cook; special sons Jerry (Sharma) Frazier and Randy Morris both of East Chicago, IN; brothers Rev. Willie E. Williams Jr., Solomon “Ronnie” (Gloria) Perry, Jr. and Maurice Jenkins; sisters Ava (David) Mitchell of Fort Washington, MD; Claudia E. Sago of Minneapolis, MN, Evangelist Nadyne Flowers of Pearland, TX; special sister Patricia Collins; grandchildren Raven Elaine and LeJaden Chandler; special nephews Leesester Chandler, Ranell Chandler and Todd A. White; special niece Arminia (Ressie) James; special daughter-in-law Michelle Chandler; special sister-in-law Stacey Bailey and a host of other family and friends.
