Demetrius Bigham

Demetrius Douglas Bigham was born January 28, 1955 to his parents Christella and Jessie Bigham in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He received his high school diploma and later obtained a degree in heating and air conditioning as well as culinary arts. He was employed at Federated Metals. Demetrius enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends.

Demetrius departed this life on February 6, 2020, after a short illness, at the age of 65. He was proceeded in death by his parents Christella and Jessie Bigham; brothers Gregory and Bernard Bigham and sister Veloria Bigham.

He leaves to cherish his memories his three daughters Lakeisha Bigham of East Chicago, IN, Patrice Jackson of Hammond, IN, and Mahalia Robinson of Jamaica, NY; son Demetrius Smith of Hammond, IN; step-son Terrance Smith; one sister Sandra Bigham of Palos Hills, IL; three brothers Cedric (Diane) Bigham and Maurice Bigham, both of East Chicago, IN and Andre Bigham of Vincennes, IN; three grandchildren Shakeeda Walkerof Dallas, TX, Dwayne Doss, Jr., of East Chicago, IN and Deondre Smith of Indianapolis, IN; three great-grandchildren; special cousin Darius Johnson; special friend Sheila Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
