Diamond Denise Washington was born September 21, 2000, in Indianapolis, IN to her parents LaVonda Williams and Damen Washington, Sr. She was the fourth of five children born to this union.
Diamond graduated from Lighthouse College Preparatory Academy in 2019, where she was a scholar and Honor Roll Student. She was also a track star, winning the Indiana State 4x2 relay and the Sectional Runner-up in the 4x1 in 2019. She was also the Track and Field School Record Holder in the 4x1 and 4x4 Relay at Lighthouse. Diamond also played volleyball and was a varsity letter award winner in both track and volleyball.
While in high school, Diamond joined the National Guard in 2018, where she served until 2020. She then enlisted in the U.S. Army in June 2020, where she was a 92G Culinary Specialist.
Diamond loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She loved fashion, doing hair, and watching her favorite shows on tv.
Diamond Denise Washington passed away Monday, December 19, 2022, in Killeen, TX. She was 22. Diamond is preceded in death by her father, Damen Washington, Sr.; grandfathers Nathaniel Kimbrough and Eddie Washington; grandmothers Patricia Skillern and Bernice Williams; aunt Angela France and uncle Harris Brown.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Tyrese Davis; parents LaVonda and Antoine Williams; grandmother Patricia Kimbrough; grandfather Donel Ray (Patricia) Scott; great grandmother Ruthie Mae Scott; siblings Damen Washington, Jr., Lavon Scott Washington, Jasmine Washington, Tychina Scott Washington and Yasmine Washington; uncles Barry Slack, Emmanuel Scott, John Louis, Dwayne Washington, Kofi Washington and Donald White; aunts Deidra (Leonard) Dunbar, Lavisha (Danny) Dillard and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
