Edward Webb

Edward Dwan Webb was born July 18, 1972 in Gary, IN to the his parents Annette Simmons and Eddie Webb. Edward also known as “Bim”( a name that was given to him by his grandfather), and known by his friends as “E Webb” attended East Chicago Central high school.  He accepted Christ at an early age and attended his grandparent’s church, Miracle Temple COGIC. Edward later served in the National Guard. He enjoyed playing and watching sports, including football and basketball during his time in school.  Edward would still go to the courts and shoot some hoops and “school the youngins” as he would say. Edward will be remembered for his cooking and his love for his family.  

He will truly be missed!

Edward D. Webb passed away Friday, January 14, 2022, at Porter Regional Hospital in Valparaiso, IN.

Edward is preceded in death by his son Donnovan Webb, his sister Shyree Simmons, and his maternal and paternal grandparents. 
Edward leaves to cherish his memories his loving parents Annette Simmons and Eddie Webb, his devoted wife Loretta, loving son Eric, sons in love Diontre, Hashim, Christopher, daughter in love Breahna (Qaadir), loving sister Aushanti and loving brother Marcus. He will be missed dearly by his grandchildren Riley, London, McKenzie, Elias, Emilia, and Brielle.  His nieces Dynesti, Imani, Mahogany, Shylis , Briana, and Mariyah. His nephews Kejuan, Taiwan, Marcus JR, and Michael, great niece and great nephews, special cousins, aunts, and uncles. 
 The family would like to thank everyone who has reached out to share their condolences.  We appreciate you all.
