Elizabeth J. Irvin (Lova) was born February 11, 1961, in East Chicago Indiana to the late Robert and Gertha Irvin Sr. She attended and graduated from E.C Roosevelt High School. Elizabeth worked for East Chicago school system as a crossing guard for many years. She was baptized at Zion Missionary Baptist Church at a young age under the leadership of Rev. Dr. J.C. Wade, Jr.
Lova met the love of her life her fiance Bennett Hawkins and had six beautiful daughters. Lova made her transition April 1, 2023, in Indianapolis, IN. Lova love spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed herself at the boat and loved listening to all kind of music. She did not play about her family.
Lova was proceeded in death with her parents, Robert and Gertha Irvin; sisters Patricia Skillern and Paula Irvin; brother Eric Irvin and grandson Marshawn Hawkins.
Lova leaves to cherish her memories her fiance Bennett Hawkins; six wonderful daughters Tynina Hawkins of East Chicago Indiana, Christine (Turrell) Anderson of East Chicago Indiana, Shrnina Hawkins of Indianapolis, IN, Shinesha Irvin of East Chicag, IN, Gertha Irvin of Indianapolis, IN, and Latesa Irvin of Chicago IL; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; Six brothers, Johnnie (Deborah) Mosley of Indianapolis, IN, Robert Irvin, Jr. of East Chicago, IN, Willie (Mardella) Irvin, Sr. of Gary, IN, Paul (Cathy) Irvin, Sr. of Arizona; Harry (Aletha) Irvin of Hammond, IN and Mark Irvin of East Chicago, IN; sister Linda Johnson of East Chicago, IN and a host of aunties, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
