Eric Douglas

Eric R. Douglas was born October 12, 1989 to his parents Felecia Peterson and George Douglas at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He was the second of a set of twins born to this union. Affectionately known as “Twin” or “Chalky White,” he accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized while attending Family Christian Center in Munster, IN. He attended junior high and later was employed as a forklift driver for a warehouse company. 

Eric was a mentor to many. He was intelligent and artistic and brilliantly creative. Eric loved spending time with his many friends, his dog, Remy and family, especially his daughter Harli. Eric was a sensitive soul who had a loud, contagious laugh. He had a giving heart and was extremely caring. 

Eric will be missed by all who knew and loved him

Eric R. Douglas passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021 in East Chicago, IN. He was 32. Eric is preceded in death by his father, George Douglas; grandmother, Kathleen Peterson and his “Papa” Wallace Peterson. 

He leaves to cherish his memories is loving mother, Felecia Peterson; daughter, Harli; twin brother David Douglas; siblings Tish, Terrell, Damian and Nicholas; pitbull Remy and a host of other family and loving friends.
