Ernest Bass

Ernest T. Bass was born in East Chicago, IN to his parents Australia and Bobby Bass on November 20, 1951. Affectionately known as Ernie, he earned a degree in Computer Science from Trinidad Colorado University. Later he was employed for Bud Plant, Lake County Nursing and Rehab Center and finally the Dialysis Center as a Dialysis Tech before he retired. Ernest enjoyed fishing and spending time with his loved ones. Ernest T. Bass passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020 at his home in Gary, IN. He is preceded in death by his parents Australia and Bobby Bass; brothers Clifford Battle, Carlton Bass and Sandric Jefferson. He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter Shara Ervin; brothers Alex Marion and Bobby Bass, Jr.; sisters Sandra Bostic and Linda Bass; grandchildren Sean Ervin and Brooke Dixon; his heartbeats Charles Nicholson, Al-Keinyia Sesson and Azia Washington and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
