Fairfax H Green, Jr.

Fairfax Henry Green, Jr. was born January 6, 1944 to his parents Queen and Fairfax Green, Sr. He confessed Christ at an early age and later joined New Community Baptist Church. Later, he attended public schools in East Chicago, IN and graduated from Hammond Tech. He later graduated with his bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University and received his Master of Science degree at IUN Northwest in Gary, IN. He married Lori Harris in June of 2000 and to this union their daughter, Angel Green was born. He also worked for the State of Indiana Child Protective Services for 25 years until retiring.

Fairfax Green Jr. passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Methodist Hospital-Southlake, Merrillville, IN at the age of 74. He is preceded in death by his parents Queen and Fairfax, Sr.; sister Margaret and brother Lonnie. Fairfax leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Lori; 3 daughters Angel, LaToya, and Regina; son Carl Oscar; brothers George and Kevin; sisters Vyette and Crystal and a host of other family and friends.
