Howard L. (Maestro) Moore was born in Detroit, MI in 1950 to his parents Eva Lee Moore and David Sanders. He was the second oldest of five siblings.
He attended and graduated from Roosevelt High School in Gary, IN with the Class of 1968. While in high school, he mastered the studies of the Apprentice Program, graduated, and applied his early accomplishment to Inland Steel, where he worked over 40 years as a Journeyman/ Pipefitter.
Aside from being a well-dressed, distinguished, and classy gentleman, Maestro was an Honorary Mason Member, and a Superior of the Corvette Club. He loved motorcycling, Collecting Cars, Traveling, Fishing, and most of all greatest happiness was the love of family, his children and grandchildren.
Howard L. (Maestro) Moore is preceded in death by his loving parents, Mother Eva Moore, and Father David Sanders; loving wife Julia Moore; sister Armanda Cooley, two brothers Louis Moore and Jerome Edwards Sr.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories his son Jermaine(Megan)Moore; daughter Ebony(Franklin)Bates, four grandchildren Julian Bates, Olivia Bates, Carter Moore, and Calie Moore; brother Gary(Pee-Wee)(Joannie) Moore; sister Greta (Gary) Gillis; mother-in Law Elizabeth Watkins; Godson Oronde King; special nephew Laronde Gillis and a host of other relatives and friends.
