Inez Roberts

Inez Samuel Roberts was born June 9, 1940 to her parents Frank and Beulah Samuel in Hatchechubbe, AL. Affectionately known as Sue, Inez received Christ at an early age and later graduated from high school at East Chicago Roosevelt in 1958. Later, she was employed by the School City of East Chicago from 1960 to her retirement in 2003. Inez married Warren Roberts in 1974 and two children were born to this union, Johnathan and Rebecca. Inez will be remembered for her love of God and her dedication to her church. Inez Samuel Roberts passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021at her home in East Chicago, IN. She was 80. Inez is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Beulah Samuel; husband Warren Roberts and brother Robert Samuel. She leaves to cherish her memories her children Johnathan and Rebecca Roberts; 17 nieces and nephews; sister Thelma Matchem; brother Rochester Samuel and sister-in-law Teresa (Robert) Samuel.
