Isiah Cheeks

Isiah Cheeks was born to parents Peter and Catherine Cheeks on October 17, 1948 in Alabama. He was the 5th child born to this union. Affectionately known as “Pete,” he attended Alabama public schools and later drove a semi-truck for many years. Pete loved to sing and entertain others. Isiah Cheeks departed this life Thursday, October 10, 2019 at St. Margaret Health in Dyer, IN. He is preceded in death by his parents Peter and Catherine Cheeks; grandparents brother; two sisters and two nephews. Isiah leaves to cherish his memories his sons Antwon Peterson and Darius Peterson; daughter Tina Peterson, Audrey Franklin, and Angela Franklin; brothers Arthur (Helen) Comer and Lawyer Comer; sister Willie Mae Lewis; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
