Jacqueline Wells was born February 21, 1972, to Cora Wells and John Wells Sr. in Columbus, Indiana. Jacqueline confessed her love for Christ at an early age at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of W. L Frazier. She received her education through Columbus North High School in Columbus, Indiana.
Jacqueline loved to cook and be around family. She had a bubbly personality. Whenever she greeted you it was ALWAYS accompanied with a kiss. She was never on time. She dare not leave out the house without makeup, lashes, and making sure her hair was laid. She enjoyed playing cards, dominoes, and watching movies. She loved to be around her children. She spent these past few years back in Hammond with her mother Cora, accompanying her to doctor’s visits, grocery shopping, and other activities.
Jacqueline was called home at an early age of forty-eight years old on June 08, 2020. She was preceded in death by her father John Wells Sr., her grandmother Cora Pearl Harris, and nephew Kendall Wells. She leaves to mourn her memory: her mother, Cora L. Wells of Hammond, Indiana; two children, RaeShon Wells of Indianapolis and DeJa Rideout of Portage; one brother, John Wells Jr. of Columbus, Indiana; her niece, Jessica Wells; two great-nieces Jamari & Jaisson Wells; a great-nephew Khalil Wells; her aunts Frankie Banks, Gayle Johnson, and Donna Johnson-Thomas; her girlfriends Tanesha Stringer, Cassandra Morris, and Nichole Dinkins; and a host of cousins.
