Jessie Mae (Appleberry) Lardydell, the daughter of Westley and Nellie Appleberry, was born October 6, 1921, in Forest City, Arkansas. She confessed Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized into the Christian faith, uniting with Taylor Chapel Baptist Church in Forest City, Arkansas. She was united in marriage to James Lardydell in 1939. She was a loving caretaker to her 9 children and devoted her life to being a wonderful, compassionate wife and mother.
On October 13, 2022, Jessie Mae passed away peacefully in her sleep. She lived a long, beautiful life of 101 years. She loved to garden and cook for her family and always made sure everyone was well taken care of. Her greatest love was her children and grandchildren, and she made sure to instill good values in anyone that crossed her path. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
She is preceded in death by her Mother Nellie Appleberry, Father Wesley Appleberry; 3 brothers, James Appleberry, Theodis Appleberry, John Henry Appleberry; 5 sons, Arthur (Killa Joe) Lardydell, George Lardydell, Hurie (Tee) Lardydell, James (June) Lardydell, and Lonzell (Bo) Lardydell. She is survived by her 4 children, Rosie Lardydell, Johnny Lardydell, Theresa Lardydell and Lillie Lardydell; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, nieces, other relatives and friends.
