Kajah Wilson

Kajah Tinneal Lanai Wilson was born on October 27, 1995, in Chicago, Illinois to James O Wilson and Latonya Carter. Kajah, affectionally known as KiKi, began her education at Lincoln Elementary School and then attended Field Elementary School, both in East Chicago, IN. From there, Kajah attended Block Junior High where she began playing basketball. Kajah’s high school years was spent at Central High School where she continued to enjoy her basketball career. She also was a member of the track team where she obtained many awards and trophies. 

Kajah enlisted in the National Guard in her junior year of high school. Kajah was formally employed by the Indiana Department of Corrections as a Correctional Officer, United States Postal Service, as well as Ford Motor Company. Lastly, Pepsi Corporation employed Kajah where she remained until her passing.

Kajah’s determination led her to owning three businesses. She started Kay GotMeTwist’d where she did Locs for the community. She also birthed Dreams From A Menace LLC Clothing Line where she provided stylish gear for many. Her love for crafts prompted her to start Flip N Rugz a business where she handcrafted rugs that she designed. Shoes was also her passion, where she worked tirelessly alongside her fiancé Rico with his business RichFlipKickz. Kajah was known for her infectious smile and her caring spirit. She loved her family and friends unconditionally.

Kajah was proceeded in death by her Grandmother Francine, Granny, Auntie Joyce, Vashine (Sister), and her favorite cousin BJ. Kajah leaves to cherish her precious memories; her dad James O. Wilson, mom LaTonya Carter, fiancé Richard Casson, her siblings, Tiffany, Amanda, De Nay, James III, Kiante, grandparents James (PaPa), Celestine (Memaw), Mable (Mother-in-Law) and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives, and special friends.
