Kenneth Norsweather

Kenneth Steven Norsweather was born in Gary, Indiana on August 25, 1953 to William Norsweather and Gladys Spivey Norsweather. He was a graduate of Roosevelt High School in 1972. He worked for GATX which he retired from. Later he was employed at Ameristar Casino. Kenny had a love for fishing, but his passion was his fish tank which he cherished. Kenny made his transition on January 6, 2019 at St. Catherine Hospital. He is preceded in death by his parents William and Gladys Norsweather, grandmother Edna O’Bryant, 2 brothers Rupert Bryan Jr and Ronald Bryan. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Tina Norsweather, son Kenneth S. Norsweather Jr., one daughter Kayla (Damarius) Boyd; 1 sister Dorothy Waters; 4 stepchildren Tira (Deante) Perkins, Talaun (Nicole) Valliant, and Tyrone and Teontra Valliant; sister-in-law Tamitha (Sherman) Walker; brothers-in-law Mitchell Glover and Shaeee Rahim; Devoted friends Jerry Baker and William Haliburton and a host of grandkids, nieces, nephews, and other family member and friends.
