Kennie “Moocho” Williams was born December 28, 1948 to his parents Ozeal and Ruby Williams in East Chicago, IN. He was the fifth of ten children born to this union. Kennie confessed a hope in Christ and was baptized at Tabernacle Baptist Church by Rev. James Hunter. He was a 1966 graduate of Washington High School. Later, he enrolled into the military in 1967 through 1969. He then became known as the “Master Mechanic.” Everyone called him “Mr. Fix It” because he could fix anything. He later moved to Sacramento, CA in 1985 where he instantly became family and a friend to so many.

He departed this life on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at his home in Sacramento, CA. Kennie is preceded in death by his parents Ozeal and Ruby Williams; brothers Baby, Alvin, Michael, Howard, and Billy Williams. He leaves to cherish his memories his children Orondi (Angelique) Buggs of Avondale, AZ, Kenya (Asmar) Johnson of Louisville, KY, Kennie (Radora) Williams of Sacramento, CA, Jerry (Tia) Clinton of Kansas City, MO and Kendra Williams of Detroit, MI; two brothers Ronald and Leonard Williams both of East Chicago, IN; sisters Jannie (Dolfus) Williams of East Chicago, IN and Lauren Diane (Kern) Peak of Indianapolis, IN; aunts Edna Dean Williams of Nashville, TN and Mary Williams of Flint, MI; 19 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and a very special significant other, Gail Hawkins of Sacramento, CA and a host of other family and friends.
