Leonard S Lewis

Leonard Curtis Lewis was born August 27, 1955 in Hammond, IN to the late Curtis L. and Lola B. Sims-Lewis Affectionately known as Sonny Boy, Leonard attended Downsville, LA High School. He was extremely social and had many friends. He also enjoyed dancing, playing baseball and watching sports. Sonny Boy has a zest for living and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Leonard leaves to cherish his memories his son Leonard (Delonna) Lewis, Jr.; granddaughter Lyniah; five sisters Edna Sims of Louisiana, Linda Lewis, Joane (Frederick) Merkerson, and Angela Lewis all of Hammond, IN and Carlas Lewis-Carter of Indianapolis, IN; four brothers Frank Lewis of Louisiana, John (Joyce) Lewis of Dallas, TX, Dennis Lewis of Indianapolis, IN and Teddy Lewis of Hammond, IN and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, and friends.
