Queenell Wright was born July 18, 1925, in Hurtsboro, AL to her parents Eddie and Queen Wright. Queenell was the second oldest of four children.
She met and married her husband George Harrison in 1952. Queenell worked at Lever Brothers for over 30 years before her retirement. She was a hard-working woman with an excellent work record and work ethic. In her years of employment, she was never late or absent. During her employment at Lever Brothers, she was a certified Union Counselor.
After her retirement, she spent most of her free time sewing, knitting, baking, and eating. Eating was her favorite past time.
Queenell Harrison entered her eternal rest on the morning of. November 5, 2022. She was 97.
She is preceded in death by her parents Eddie and Queen Wright; husband George Harrison; brother Jonas and Eddie Wright, Jr.; sister Lucy Mae Wright; grandon, Kole Parrish and granddaughter Tya Wright.
Queenell leaves to cherish her memories her sons, Roderick L. (Patricia Frank) Wright of Las Vegas, NV, and Kerry (Marianne) Parrish of Ardmore, PA; six grandchildren Terence, Taron, Tamaya, Tina, and Bianca Wright and Kerrianne Parrish; step grandson Coi Robinson; twelve great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; special nieces, Melba Miller, and Cynthia Fowler; special cousins. Pastor Willie and Jennifer Nelson; special friend Janice Robinson and a host of other family and friends.
