Robert Hester was born September 23, 1974, to his parents Eugene, Jr. and Lenore Harris in Chicago, IL. Robert dedicated his life to Christ at an early age at Way of Truth Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Daniel Lee.
Robert attended Chicago Public Schools and was a graduate of Cosmopolitan Prep High School. He started his employment at the age of 15 working for his grandfather’s construction company. He continued his employment throughout his adulthood. Robert was an electric wirer at Whiting Corporation until his illness.
Robert Hester passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2023, at Methodist Hospital in Gary, IN. He was 48. Robert is preceded in death by his grandfather Burnett McWhorter and grandmother Annie R. Nash.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories his loving and dedicated wife Dalese Walker-Hester; parents Eugene and Lenore Harris, Jr. of Chicago, IL; children Raven of Michigan City, IN, Morgan of Gary, IN, China of Atlanta, GA, Keturah of Joliet, IL, LaKirah of Oregon, Robert, Jr. of Washington and Rahmir of Oregon; granddaughter Wynter Dream and a host of other relatives and friends.
Robert will be missed by all who knew him!
