Travontee' Flemming Obituary/Virtual Registration

Travontee’ Flemming was born on October 24th, 1990, in Gary, Indiana, to Shonetta Flemming and Derek Evans. Affectionately known as Bookie, as a child, and Tae (Lux) as an adult, he was raised between Gary, IN, and Atlanta, GA. He attended Jefferson Elementary and Lew Wallace High Schools where he was enrolled in the Gifted and Talented Program.

He loved his family and friends with all of his heart and would give a stranger the shirt off of his back. However, nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his only son, Kanon Superior, and his stepchildren, Legend and Halo.

Travontee’ was insanely curious and loved to explore the places and people around him. He was capable, charismatic, and could master anything he attempted. His electric smile and humor opened doors into all walks of life for him and he would make lasting friendships absolutely everywhere he went. He loved to try new things and share his discoveries with anyone that would listen.

He had the bravado of a lion and the swag of a solar system. He was an Amazing Father, Loyal Brother, Incredible Son, Loving Grandson, Sweet Nephew, Ride or Die Cousin, Compassionate Friend, Super Dope MC, Fantastic Chef, Hilarious Comedian, Fearless Rebel, Notorious Ladies Man and let us not forget, he always had them HANDS!
