Hospital - Southlake Campus in Merrillville, IN. He was 73. Wayne is preceded in death by his loving wife Julia M. Dodson; parents Nazareth, Sr. and Colis McNeal Dodson; brothers Aaron, Willie Pete, Grady and Winfred (Margaret Ann) Dodson; sisters Cora Mae Perry, Doretha Crisp, Ellen R. Dodson, Juanita Dodson, and Hellen Williams and great grandchild Jania. He leaves to cherish his memories to his loving children Wayne C. ( Priscilla) Dodson,Jr., Anita Lynn Plainer, and Talaya Maria Dodson; 12 grandchildren Wayne (Brenda) III, Demetrius, Precyous, Jalaya, Zharia, Kaylin , Aniya, JayLynn, Jawayne, Jayden, Janaya, and Jaques ; 4 great grandchildren Kiyan, Dalilah, Peyton and Peysley ; loving brother Nazareth (late Lela) Dodson Jr. of Memphis,TN and a host of nieces , nephews, other family and friends.
