Wendy L. Bonaparte was born February 15, 1966 to her parents Fred and Ellen Tillman.
Wendy grew up in East Chicago, IN and gave her life to Christ at an early age. She attended Roosevelt High School in East Chicago. In her adult years, she worked for the School City of East Chicago and obtained her license as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), which led to her becoming a home health care aid.
Wendy had a deep love for her family especially her grandchildren and Jesus Christ. She was a very loving and giving person. She enjoyed volunteering at the church to give back to the community. Wendy loved spending time with her family and friends for fun game nights. She had a great love for animals, and she was a greatly known for her cooking.
Wendy gained her wings on Saturday May 28, 2022. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred (Joyce) Tillman and mother, Ellen Tillman, her husband, Jerry E. Bonaparte, and her sister Eileen (Kitty) Bonaparte.
She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Shauntal Bonaparte, 3 sons, Christopher Tillman, Sr., Justin Tillman, and Ethan Bailey. 5 grandchildren, Taniyah Tillman, Miyata Williams, Christopher Tillman, Jr., Maaliyah Tillman, and A’Mari (Boo) Craig. 10 siblings, Brian Gregory, Fred (Catherine) Tillman, Vonda (Juan) Almodovar, Kelli Williams, Charlita (James) Lockett, Andrew and Kyle. A bonus sister-cousin, Gretta Gregory, and special friends Denise Tremell and Rhonda McClendon, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
