Willie (Snake) Cobb was born to the late Thomas and Mattie Cobb in East Chicago, Indiana.

Willie attended East Chicago public school and also Washington High School.

He was employed as a laborer and retired late 1990s. Willie Acknowledgements enjoyed skating, dancing and showing off his cooking skills.

Willie departed this life January 29, 2022 at St. Catherine Hospital. Willie was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mattie Cobb, maternal grandparents, Joe and Rosie Walker, 4 brothers, Robert and Ernest Jordan of Florida, Thomas Cobb Jr., and Leonard Cobb of East Chicago, sister Paulette Cobb of Gary, Indiana.

He leaves to mourn, his loving children, Ivory Cobb (Alabama), Shante Cobb, Ashley Cobb (Indianapolis, Indiana), Montrice Cobb, Jenice Cobb (Chicago, Illinois) William Jason Cobb (Phoenix, Arizona), Dawayland Cobb, Devan Cobb (Atlanta, Georgia), Corey Cobb, Chicago, Illinois, Donald Cobb, Gary, Indiana, 1 god daughter - Mychel Patterson of Wisconsin, 5 sisters, Shirley Powell (East Chicago, Indiana), Mayola (Louis) Williams and Denise Pennybaker, both of Hammond, Indiana, Bessie (Jimmy) Boykin (Indianapolis, Indiana), Beverly Cobb (East Chicago, Indiana), 4 brothers, Elton Cobb (East Chicago, Indiana), Ricky Cobb (Minnesota), Shawn Cobb (Chicago, Illinois) and Derrick (Faye) Person (Appleton, Wisconsin), devoted friend Arlean Myers (East Chicago, Indiana), 15 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
