Willie Felton Jefferson, Jr. was born to his parents Willie Felton Jefferson, Sr., and Alfreda Vernessa Hyatt on November 11, 1982, in East Chicago, IN. He was the fourth child to this union. Affectionately known as Lil Will, he attended high school, and he enjoyed his time as a stay-at-home father of his four children. He enjoyed spending time with his babies and talking to them about everything. He was a wonder leader and a remarkable father to his children and family. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, playing video games and rapping. Willie Jefferson, Jr. passed away November 6, 2022, at Methodist Southlake in Merrillville, IN. He was 39.
He will be deeply missed.
Willie is preceded in death by his parents Willie Jefferson, Sr. and Alfreda Hyatt; sister Ebony Graham; uncle Richard Earl Berry, Sr.; aunts Flora Jean Hyatt and Rosemary Hyatt and his grandparents.
He leaves to cherish his memories his children Willie Jefferson, III, and Knowledge Nasir Jefferson; two children he took under his wings, Nigeela and Rodney; siblings Tasheana Grahaml Keiyna Davis, Kirby Hyatt, Keinetrise Pollard, Marie Jefferson-Nicholas, Delandis Jefferson, and Unika (Muron) Steele, Robert (Vanessa) Jefferson, and Harold Cobb; nieces Rasheana, Tazmaray, Justice, London, Camilla, and Kayla; nephews Tay’Vion, Tyrion, Michall Mason, Robert Jefferson Jr., Michall Jefferson and Charles Lott, Jr.; special cousins Deshawn Edwards, Rayniece Carr, Keesha Edwards and Richard “Buddy” Jr.; mother of his children, Natasha Alexander; devoted friends, Donnie Crossley, Dwayne Harris, Kody-C-Getto and Tyan Bullard and a host of other family and friends.
